Mazeti (Mazhiqi)

Municipality Mitrovica

Mazeti (Mazhiqi) is in the municipality of Mitrovica. A historical document from 1610 mentions the settlement. An Ottoman register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Maziq.

For 1998–99, the source documents destruction. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include older burial grounds. Historical notes mention a mosque in the settlement.
