Municipality Prizren
Mamusha is in the municipality of Prizren. A historical document from 1189 mentions the settlement under the form Momosha. An Ottoman register from 1591 documents the settlement under the form Mumusha with 15 households and 3 unmarried men.
A historical document from 1650 mentions the settlement. A later register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Mamusha. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include an inscription. Historical notes mention a mosque in the settlement.
