Lumbardhi (Bistrica e Shalës)

Municipality Leposaviq

Lumbardhi (Bistrica e Shalës) is in the municipality of Leposaviq. An Ottoman register from 1455 documents the settlement under the form Bistrica with 11 households. A later register from 1604 documents the settlement.

Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include a Roman sarcophagus and older burial grounds. A historical document mentions the settlement. The source records migration of residents to Turkey.
