Lugu (Dollci) lies about 2–3 km southeast of Klina in a valley beside the nearby hills. The area preserves traces of an early fortified settlement. The site known as Jerenina, or Kulla e Jerinës, is associated with a Late Antique fortification and pottery found on the surface.
Written documentation is early: the settlement appears in a Hilandar charter around 1200, in documents from 1282 and 1298 as Zalug, and in 1348 in the form Dolec. Other records also use the form Sheshi Dollci. During the 20th century, some Albanian families emigrated to the United States and Croatia.
Before the 1999 war, Albanian, Serbian and Roma households lived in the settlement. During the war all Albanian houses were burned; Serbian and Roma houses were burned later as well. One resident was killed by mines.
