Municipality Drenas

Rezistenca (Baica) is in the municipality of Drenas. A historical document from 1365 mentions the settlement. An Ottoman register from 1455 documents the settlement with 19 households and 4 unmarried men.

A later register from 1566 documents the settlement. The register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Banica. For 1998–99, the source documents expulsion. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include older burial grounds.
