Lluka e Poshtme is in the municipality of Decan. A historical document from 1330 mentions the settlement under the form Lluka. An Ottoman register from 1485 documents the settlement under the form Dolina Luka with 13 households and 3 unmarried men.
An Ottoman register from 1582 documents the settlement under the form Donja Lluka with 7 households and 2 unmarried men. An Ottoman register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Lluka-i Zir. For 1998–99, the source documents burning by Serbian forces.
