Lluka e Epërme
Municipality Decan
Lluka e Epërme is in the municipality of Decan. A historical document from 1330 mentions the settlement under the form Lluka. An Ottoman register from 1485 documents the settlement under the form Gorna Luka with 46 households and 15 unmarried men.
A later register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Lluka-i Bala. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include building foundations. The source records burning connected with a documented historical conflict. Historical sources also record the settlement under the form Luk.
