Llapllasellë lies about 14 km south of Prishtina. The source describes it as a lowland settlement.
The source notes archaeological traces linking the locality with early phases of habitation. In written records, the source traces the settlement at least to 1314–1316, with further references in 1455, 1689. One of the cited registers for 1455 records 87 households; more granular demographic details are intentionally omitted here.
Later emigration of some families to Turkey is also recorded.
