Livagjë, now in the municipality of Graçanica, lies about 5 km northeast of historical Lipjan. Southwest of the village, traces of a small Roman-period villa rustica have been discovered, together with a marble female head. These finds relate to the development of settlements in the mining region around Ulpiana during antiquity.
Written sources mention the settlement as Livadija in a charter of Countess Milica from 1394–1402. An Ottoman register from 1455 records 22 households, while the 1566–74 register records 21. An Austrian map based on information from 1689 shows the form Livaça, and the settlement appears again in late-19th-century yearbooks.
The Lipjan volume reflects the municipal boundaries of 2003; the present identity Livagjë and the page's current municipal relationship are with Graçanica.
