Lipovicë is treated in the volume as a distinct locality within the entry Blinaja (Vërsheci). It lies in the mountainous area west of Lipjan, near Blinajë, and is described as a place that had been inhabited earlier before later developing mainly as a recreation and hunting area.
A register of the Vilayet of Vëllk mentions a settlement named Lipovci with 28 households, but its identification with this exact locality remains uncertain. During socialist Yugoslavia the area became known as Lipovicë and included a hotel and other recreation facilities. In 1975 it was administratively registered as a separate settlement.
In 1998 Lipovicë had seven houses. In spring 1999, four of them were burned or shelled.
