Linishti (Llanishta)

Municipality Kacanik

Linishti (Llanishta) is in the municipality of Kacanik. An Ottoman register from 1452 documents the settlement under the form Lenishte with 6 households. A later register from 1568 documents the settlement.

Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include fortification remains, building foundations, and older burial grounds. Historical sources also record the settlement under the form Gradishtë.
