Jabllanica

Municipality Prizren

Jabllanica is in the municipality of Prizren. A historical document from 1348 mentions the settlement. A historical document from 1465 mentions the settlement.

An Ottoman register from 1530 documents the settlement under the form Jablaniçe. A later register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Jabllanicë. For 1998–99, the source documents killings. The source records migration of residents to Turkey. Historical sources also record the settlement under the form Jallbanica.
