Henc lies about 5 km southwest of Fushë Kosovë. It is described as a compact settlement.
Building remains and older material finds are also recorded and linked by the source with an earlier phase of settlement. In written records, the source traces the settlement at least to 1763, with further references in 1776, 1867. One of the cited registers for 1905 records 25 households; more granular demographic details are intentionally omitted here.
For the period between the two world wars, the source also documents the settlement of Serbian or Montenegrin colonist families. For 1998–1999, the source documents the burning, destruction or damage of homes and other property, the killing of residents.
