Hallaç I Vogël, treated in the volume as Martirasi (Hallaqi i Vogël), lies about 3 km west of Lipjan. It shares part of the early history of Hallaqi with Hallaç I Madh, but the volume clearly distinguishes the two as separate settlements. In the late 19th century Albanian muhajir families expelled from the Sanjak of Niš in 1877–78 also settled here.
During the First World War, Bulgarian authorities burned three houses and grain supplies in 1915–18. Montenegrin colonist families were also settled here during the interwar period.
At the beginning of 1999 the village had 56 Albanian houses and 58 Ashkali houses, with about 1,200 residents in total. On 19 April 1999 Serbian forces killed 21 civilians according to the volume's detailed count; it also cites contemporary reports giving 24 victims. Twenty-seven Albanian houses and 25 other buildings were burned.
