Gramaçeli

Municipality Decan

Gramaçeli is in the municipality of Decan. A historical document from 1330 mentions the settlement under the form Gërmoqel. An Ottoman register from 1485 documents the settlement under the form Girmxhil with 38 households and 12 unmarried men.

A later register from 1893 documents the settlement. For 1998–99, the source documents burning. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include pottery and tile fragments and building foundations. Historical notes mention a church in the settlement area.
