Elezaj (Gjurgjeviku i Vogël) lies about 4 km north of Klina. Its setting combines lowland and hilly terrain. It has a compact settlement pattern. Its neighbourhoods form distinct parts of the settlement. The area preserves traces of an older settlement and early local heritage.
Traces or local memory of older church sites are preserved in the village area. The settlement appears in written records from 1893, with further references in 1896, 1900. During the interwar period, 28 Serbian or Montenegrin colonist families were settled here. In 1919, the settlement suffered burning, looting or killings during actions by Serbian forces.
