Dush lies about 7 km east of Klina. Stone slabs, pottery, roof tiles and bricks found at Shpati i Keq are associated with an earlier phase of habitation. Local memory also preserves traces of families that moved between Dush and nearby Martiras.
In 1919, under the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, the village was burned in its entirety and residents temporarily took shelter in Shpellas in the Malisheva area. In later decades the settlement continued to include both Albanian and Serbian residents.
In 1999, Dush had 29 Albanian households with 254 residents and 13 Serbian households. During the war the village was looted and burned; 6 residents were killed and one person remained missing. Residents had left the village from 7 July 1998, first for other places in Kosovo, while some were later expelled to North Macedonia and Albania.
