Municipality Prizren

Dojnica is in the municipality of Prizren. A historical document from 1397 mentions the settlement under the form Deonci. An Ottoman register from 1530 documents the settlement under the form Doyniçe with 5 households and 1 unmarried man.

For 1998–99, the source documents destruction by Serbian forces.
