Municipality Leposaviq

Ceraja is in the municipality of Leposaviq. An Ottoman register from 1455 documents the settlement under the form Cirani with 15 households and 3 unmarried men. A later register from 1604 documents the settlement under the form Cerani.

The register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Ceranja. The source records burning connected with a documented historical conflict.
