Municipality Kacanik

Burimi (Seçishta) is in the municipality of Kacanik. An Ottoman register from 1452 documents the settlement under the form Sheqishqa with 16 households. A later register from 1468 documents the settlement with 13 households.

The register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Silçeshte. The source records migration of residents to Turkey. Historical sources also record the settlement under the form Sesista.
