Municipality Lipjan
Bungeti (Bukovica) is in the municipality of Lipjan. An Ottoman register from 1455 documents the settlement under the form Buklovica with 20 households. An Ottoman register from 1498 documents the settlement.
An Ottoman register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Bukofça. For 1998–99, the source documents killings by Serbian forces. The evidence includes building foundations, pointing to earlier habitation. The evidence includes older burial grounds, pointing to earlier habitation.
