Municipality Gjilan
Budrika e Poshtme is in the municipality of Gjilan. A historical document from 1381 mentions the settlement under the form Budrezi. A historical document from 1393 mentions the settlement under the form Budrizi.
An Ottoman register from 1566 documents the settlement under the form Dolina Budrig with 27 households and 12 unmarried men. A later register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Bodrik-i Zir Barish.
