Municipality Drenas

Malishti (Vasileva) is in the municipality of Drenas. An Ottoman register from 1455 documents the settlement under the form Vasiljevo with 7 households. A later register from 1566 documents the settlement.

The register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Vasileva. For 1998–99, the source documents burning by Serbian forces. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include older burial grounds and building foundations.
