Bellanica

Municipality Malisheva

Bellanica is in the municipality of Malisheva. An Ottoman register from 1530 documents the settlement under the form Belaniçi. A later register from 1893 documents the settlement.

For 1998–99, the source documents expulsion and burning. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include older burial grounds. The source records burning connected with a documented historical conflict.
