Babushani (Babushi i Serbëve) is in the municipality of Ferizaj. An Ottoman register from 1455 documents the settlement under the form Bobusha with 27 households. An Ottoman register from 1477 documents the settlement under the form Bobushani.
An Ottoman register from 1566 documents the settlement. An Ottoman register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Babosh. For 1998–99, the source documents burning by Serbian forces. Historical sources also record the settlement under the form Babush.
