Sllatinë e Vogël lies about 5 km west of Fushë Kosovë. The source describes it as a hilly settlement.
The source notes archaeological traces linking the locality with early phases of habitation. The author also records old religious remains or burial sites identified in the field or preserved in local tradition. In written records, the source traces the settlement at least to 1326, with further references in 1455, 1688.
One of the cited registers for 1455 records 29 households; more granular demographic details are intentionally omitted here. Later emigration of some families to Turkey is also recorded. For 1998–1999, the source documents the expulsion or forced departure of residents, the burning, destruction or damage of homes and other property.
