Documented archive
A selected record of documented events from the Kosovo War of 1998–1999. These are not a complete victim registry, but source-led entries on crimes and violence affecting Kosovo Albanian civilians.
Each entry is selected because the source provides a location, date or period, human impact and attributable context for the forces involved. Prof. Dr. Jusuf Osmani’s register is the principal source; descriptions of responsible forces remain tied to what that source supports. This page does not assign collective guilt to ethnic Serbs, but names institutions, formations and forces where they are documented.
1998–1999
The chronology begins with a limited set of events for which the book provides clear public information. A figure shown here is only the one recorded for that event; the absence of a value does not mean zero.
28 February – 1 March 1998
Likoshan and Qirez
Osmani records the killing of 24 inhabitants from Qirez, Likoshan and nearby places. The source notes that ten victims belonged to the Ahmeti family and that pregnant women were among those killed.

Abri e Epërme
Osmani records that Serb forces killed 22 members of the Deliu family in Abri e Epërme. The victims ranged from a six-month-old infant to an 84-year-old woman.

Reçak
Osmani records that 43 inhabitants of Reçak were killed and mutilated in an attack on the village’s civilian population. The source attributes the massacre to Serb criminals and paramilitaries.

Krushë e Vogël
Osmani records that Serbian police, paramilitary and military forces were in Krushë e Vogël before 113 people from the village and surrounding places were killed and mutilated. The source says the forces were joined by village Serbs.

Krushë e Madhe
Osmani records that Serb police and paramilitary forces killed and mutilated 241 people in Krushë e Madhe. The total includes 206 residents and 35 displaced people who had taken shelter in the village during the offensive.

Night of 24–25 March 1999
Tërnje
Osmani records that Serb paramilitary forces entered Tërnje and killed 46 civilians. The victims included elderly people, women and children, as well as people who had sought shelter there from nearby villages.

Izbicë
Osmani records that Serbian forces surrounded civilians assembled in Izbicë, separated men from women and then executed 114 people. The source places the event on the day of Eid al-Fitr.

Poklek i Vjetër
Osmani records that the Serb army and police killed, burned and mutilated 41 ethnic Albanians in Poklek i Vjetër. The source identifies children, women, men and teenage boys among the victims.

Mejë and Korenicë
Osmani records that Serb police stopped a column of about 500 Albanian civilians near Mejë and that killings also took place in nearby Korenicë. The source records 376 Albanians killed and notes that some people remained missing.
